Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft high-quality beverages, and provide exceptional customer service. This role is vital in ensuring guests have a memorable experience and return frequently. The position requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS system for order entry and billing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties
- Serve food and drinks to guests promptly while ensuring quality standards are met
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and ensure safety
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Follow all food safety regulations and hospitality best practices
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food industry settings, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Keep a neat and tidy appearance while working
- Smart Serve certification a must have
- Live within 5km to 10km from restaurant
- Be flexible for shifts weekdays/weekends
