Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to produce precise metal and material components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various machining and fabrication tools. The CNC Laser Operator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow within our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to specifications and blueprints.
- Program CNC laser equipment using CNC programming skills to optimize cutting processes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Utilize additional manufacturing equipment such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, CNC lathes, milling machines, welding tools, cranes, and forklifts as needed.
- Assist with assembly processes when required to support production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CNC laser cutting, programming, and machining operations.
- Familiarity with related manufacturing processes including plasma cutting, welding, CNC milling, CNC lathe, press brake operation, and hand tool usage.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with quality inspection tools such as calipers and other measurement devices.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining and fabrication environments.
- Prior experience operating cranes or forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and precision in work execution.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
