Locomotion Music provides private in home music lessons throughout the GTA. We are looking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate ukulele or guitar and vocal teacher in the Guelph area to run a music program for 1 hour a week at a school from Sept. 2026 to June, 2027, possibly starting this summer. The shift will be on a weekday morning, once a week for 1 hour. This is a small group of young students (ages 2.5-4) that will participate in these school music programs. This position starts asap.
Please make sure you:
- have availability any weekday (Monday to Thursday) for the whole school year.
- have experience teaching the ukulele, guitar and vocals to young students (listed above)
- have experience teaching regular music classes to young kids (ages 2.5-4) with handheld instruments
- have a car to get to work or live close by in the Guelph area
- have experience teaching privately and/or with small groups
- have a recent vulnerable sector screening check or can get one asap before Sept.
Compensation is $55/ for 1 hour.
