Serving Hands Senior Care is a family-run, community-based home care agency proudly serving Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County since 2016. Our mission is to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes through compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.
We are currently hiring Health Care Aides (HCAs) for part-time and full-time positions supporting clients in their homes for evenings, overnights and weekends. This role is ideal for caregivers who appreciate stable schedules, teamwork, and building lasting relationships with the people they care for.
Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Support mobility and safe transfers
- Provide medication reminders and non-invasive assistance within HCA scope and care plans
- Monitor and document any changes in client health or behaviour
- Deliver compassionate, respectful, and client-focused care
- Remain awake, alert, and responsive during overnight shifts (if scheduled)
Requirements
- Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) in good standing on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle (travel between client homes required)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Strong English communication skills
- Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers
- Reliable, organized, and compassionate

Preferred Experience
- 1+ year in Health Care or Personal Support work
- 1+ year in Home Care or Community Care
