We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator to support the sales operations function across inside and outside sales, driving strategic execution, operational excellence, and revenue performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes initiative in improving processes and supporting team success.
The successful candidate will combine strong sales expertise, quoting experience, technical understanding, data analysis, and organizational leadership to help drive company growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end inside sales operations and execution, ensuring alignment with company objectives, revenue targets, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate quotes for customers and the outside sales team.
- Act as a subject matter expert for quoting, pricing, sales processes, and CRM management.
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and recommend the right products and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and customers to develop complex and customized quote proposals.
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline trends, KPIs, opportunity forecasting, revenue forecasting, quarterly sales targets, and reporting analytics to support revenue planning and demand planning with operations and engineering, while identifying opportunities for growth and process improvement.
- Manage inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and follow-ups to drive sales opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, production, and other departments to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Follow up diligently to ensure outstanding quotes, tasks, and customer action items are completed in a timely manner.
- Serve as a resource for resolving complex customer issues and escalating when appropriate.
- Leverage technical knowledge including electrical/mechanical drawings, instrumentation, and P&IDs to support customer discussions and quoting activities.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, accuracy, and customer responsiveness.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism to deliver a positive and consistent customer experience.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of inside sales, quoting, sales operations, or customer-facing experience within Oil & Gas or a related technical industry.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex quotes and customer requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret customer needs and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with international order processing and technical documentation is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, electrical/mechanical drawings, and P&IDs is an asset.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems.
