Acreway Landscapes is a growing landscape construction company specializing in premium outdoor living spaces throughout Halton Hills (Georgetown, Acton, Milton) and surrounding communities.
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Lead Hand to join our team and help lead high-quality residential landscape projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, can guide a crew effectively, and understands the importance of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:
- Lead and work alongside landscape construction crew members on residential projects
- Install interlock patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, decks, and fences
- Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Perform excavation, grading, compaction, and base preparation
- Interpret and understand project layouts and customer expectations
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail on all installations
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape construction equipment
- Assist with training and mentoring newer crew members
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate effectively with owner/operator regarding project progress, material requirements, and scheduling needs
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, hardscape installation, or a related construction field
- Experience installing interlock, retaining walls, steps, decks, or fences
- Strong understanding of grading, excavation, compaction, and base preparation
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively within a team environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Lead Hand, Crew Leader, or supervisory experience
- Experience operating various landscaping equipment
- DZ licence considered an asset
- Experience managing materials, production targets, and job site organization

Schedule:
- Full-time seasonal employment
- Regular schedule is Monday to Friday
- Candidates must be available to work occasional Saturdays during peak spring and summer construction seasons, based on weather conditions, customer schedules, and project requirements
Location:
Travel required in and around Halton Hills (i.e. Georgetown, Acton, Milton) and surrounding areas.
Applicants must be able to reliably travel to job sites each day.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
