Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to support various construction activities including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated areas on-site.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project duration.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
