X-Ray Technologist (Fluoroscopy) – Interventional Pain Clinic

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and professional X-Ray Technologist to join our busy interventional pain clinic. The successful candidate will operate fluoroscopy equipment during image-guided pain management procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, radiation safety, and imaging quality.
This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage fluoroscopy equipment during image-guided injections and interventional pain procedures.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians in performing procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare patients for imaging and procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Adhere to all radiation safety standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements to protect patients, physicians, and staff.
- Perform routine quality assurance checks and ensure fluoroscopy equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging documentation and procedure details.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices and maintain a clean, organized procedure room.
- Report equipment concerns or maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Current registration as an X-Ray Technologist in Ontario and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Current membership with CAMRT is considered an asset.
- Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment is preferred.
- Experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, vascular, or surgical imaging is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
