Nëvo Design House is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and experienced Interior Designer to join our growing team.
NDH is known for producing thoughtful, high-impact design solutions that meet our clients’ needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Represent Nëvo Design House professionally within Kamloops and surrounding areas
- Independently manage interior design projects from concept to completion
- Source full furniture packages that suit client needs and enhance the overall design
- Provide professional, top-tier client service
- Prepare and communicate ideas through oral, graphic, and written presentations
- Seek clarification when instructions or project requirements are unclear
- Accept and apply constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals
- Contribute creative ideas independently
- Take initiative and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow
- Act as a positive role model for students and junior designers
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary Interior Design education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Interior Design industry
Skills & Knowledge
- Working knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code
- Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Ability to implement company standards across drawings, documents, and presentations
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, colours, and applications
- Ability to develop safe, functional, creative design concepts for residential and commercial projects
- Ability to produce accurate construction documents that meet company standards
- Experience creating professional design presentations and concept boards
- Strong understanding of the design process from concept through completion
Planning & Organization
- Demonstrates strong time management skills
- Meets deadlines and commitments
- Effectively manages multiple projects and priorities
- Provides weekly project updates to supervisor
- Accurately completes daily project hour timesheets
- Communicates proactively if deadlines or project requirements need to be adjusted

- Independently contributes ideas
- Follows through on assigned tasks

Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and own transportation

- Willingness to assist with duties outside of the creative design process when needed
Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8:30-4:30
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
