Position Summary
The Hybrid Restaurant Manager is a floor-focused leadership role responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant while remaining actively involved in service.
This position combines management responsibilities with guest-facing service shifts, making it ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team while maintaining strong guest relationships.
Working closely with the General Manager and Head Office, you'll help drive service standards, team development, operational excellence, and overall restaurant performance.
What You'll Do:
Leadership & Service
- Lead shifts and support daily restaurant operations
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest concerns
- Lead by example through hands-on service
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities
- Coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative culture
Operations
- Ensure opening, closing, and side work standards are consistently met
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness and maintenance
- Review reservations and prepare for service
- Assist with scheduling and labour management
- Support inventory counts and ordering
- Complete daily administrative reporting and operational tasks
- Work closely with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure seamless execution
Administrative Responsibilities
- Payroll preparation
- Daily cashout review
- Sales reporting
- Tip administration
- Inventory management
- Vendor coordination
- Staff communication through 7shifts and company systems
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant leadership experience (Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Service Manager or similar)
- Strong serving experience in a full-service restaurant
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and restaurant operations is considered an asset
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
- Management shifts: starting at $22.00/hour
- Service/Supervisor shifts: $18.00/hour plus participation in the restaurant tip pool
- Eligible for support tip-out while working management shifts
- Paid bi-weekly

Schedule
- Full-time
- Approximately 40–45 hours per week
- Mix of management shifts and floor/service shifts
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
