Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Manage product demos and upselling opportunities to increase sales
- Provide product information and technical sales support when needed
- Maintain merchandising displays to ensure attractive presentation of products
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and pricing adjustments
- Ensure efficient time management during busy hours to minimize wait times
- Uphold organizational skills by keeping the checkout area clean and stocked
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote or in-store customers
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak English fluently; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and customer service best practices
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and sales calculations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to engage in upselling and product demos effectively to boost sales
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently during peak hours
- Professional appearance and positive attitude; ability to work well within a team environment
- Prior experience in technology or retail sales is advantageous but not required
Pay: $17.20-$28.94 per hour
