We are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) who speaks Arabic (Syrian dialect preferred) to assist a client in Etobicoke.
Hours:
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- Maximum of 40 hours per month
Responsibilities include:
- Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Meal preparation and light food prep
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environment
- Washing dishes
- Laundry
- Assistance with grocery shopping and errands (if required)
- Providing companionship and ensuring the client's comfort and safety
Requirements:
- PSW certificate (or nursing/nursing from back home)
- Recent VSC or Police Check (within the last 6 months)
- Ability to communicate in Arabic (Syrian dialect preferred)
- Live within range of the client (if you drive living in the outskirts of the clients city is fine)
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Previous home care experience is an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
