Key Responsibilities
- Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly and act as a liaison between patients and the clinical team.
- Treatment Coordination: Present treatment plans (prepared by the dentist) with confidence, warmth, and clarity, helping patients understand the value of their oral health.
- Financial Counseling: Discuss treatment costs, secure financial arrangements, and work with patients to overcome financial barriers.
- Scheduling: Optimize provider schedules for maximum efficiency to minimize wait times and reduce gaps.
- Insurance & Billing: Verify insurance benefits, process pre-determinations, and accurately collect payments. Excellent communication abilities with insurance companies
- Follow-Up: Consistently track and follow up on outstanding treatment plans and pending list for patients.
✅ Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of dental administrative experience.
- Certified Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in dental management software
- Extensive knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
Advanced Requirements & Skills
- Software Expertise: Mastery of dental management Tracker software
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to monitor practice performance metrics such as collection rates, treatment acceptance, and patient retention.
- Professionalism: Exceptional problem-solving skills for resolving billing disputes, managing dental emergencies, with a calm demeanor.
- Financial & Insurance Management: Oversight of accounts receivable (in absence of office manager), processing complex insurance pre-determinations, and managing patient payment plans.
- Treatment Coordination: Explaining detailed treatment plans to patients, calculating insurance coverage vs. patient portions, and following up on unscheduled treatment to drive practice growth.
- Operational Leadership in the absence of office manager: Supervising and training junior front-office staff, managing the office budget, and liaising between administrative and clinical teams.
- Schedule Optimization: Strategically managing multi-provider schedules to maximize productivity while minimizing patient wait times.
Pay: $39.00-$42.00 per hour
