Grow With Us
As a Junior Civil Designer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and designers on residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects throughout Alberta.
This isn't a role where you'll spend years making minor drawing revisions. From day one, you'll be part of the design team, learning the fundamentals of municipal engineering while gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop.
We'll invest in your growth through mentorship, hands-on training, and real project experience. If you're willing to put in the effort, we'll provide the opportunities to help you become an exceptional designer.
What You'll Do
- Prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist with grading, servicing, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control drawings.
- Learn municipal drafting and design standards.
- Support engineers with drawing production, calculations, and project coordination.
- Review markups and incorporate revisions accurately.
- Learn how developments progress from concept through construction.
- Continuously develop your technical and design skills through mentorship and on-the-job training.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related program.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is an asset.
- Strong computer skills and an aptitude for learning new software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
