Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Tile Installer Helper to assist experienced tile installers in completing flooring and wall tile projects. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to learn construction skills and gain hands-on experience in tile laying, flooring installation, and general carpentry work. The ideal candidate will be dependable, eager to learn, and capable of working safely on various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of work areas, including surface cleaning and leveling
- Handle and organize hand tools and materials required for tile installation projects
- Support the installation of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces under supervision
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and caulking as directed
- Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to understand layout requirements
- Carry out basic carpentry tasks related to flooring and wall preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Skills
- Previous experience in tile installation or construction
- Basic understanding of construction principles, including flooring installation and tile laying techniques
- Must have own transportation
- Experience with carpentry, caulking, or handyman tasks is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
- Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks effectively

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
