Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Shop Hand / Installer to join our team. This role involves assisting with fabrication processes, operating various machinery and power tools, and installing fabricated products on-site. The ideal candidate will be reliable and eager to learn. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and quality are paramount.
Duties
- Assist in the fabrication of steel products such as railings, gates, doors and other custom work.
- Move materials and finished products within the shop and on-site
- Use of power tools for assembly, fitting, and installing product
- Assist with on-site installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Reliable and team oriented
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials safely
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in construction or installation projects is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication and installation
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
