Roles Available
Mathematics Educator
Teach the full spectrum of math from foundational numeracy and mental math through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and advanced functions. Help students build genuine problem-solving confidence and mathematical thinking.
Science Educator
Deliver engaging instruction spanning general science for younger learners through to advanced high school Biology, Chemistry, and integrated sciences. Foster inquiry-based learning and scientific curiosity across all grade levels.
What You'll Do (Both Roles)
- Teach Across Grade Levels: Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students from Grade 3 through Grade 12, adapting complexity and pace to individual learner needs
- Small-Group Instruction: Work with cohorts of 1–12 students or individual learners, creating space for personalized attention and meaningful feedback
- Foster Growth Mindsets: Help students develop confidence, resilience, and genuine enthusiasm for STEM learning
- Leverage Technology: Use our modern classroom platform and digital tools to enhance in-person instruction and create dynamic learning experiences
- Provide Actionable Feedback: Use structured assessment guidelines to track progress and give constructive feedback that drives continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
All Candidates Must Have:
- Subject Credentials: Bachelor's degree in your teaching subject (Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Science Education, Engineering, or related STEM discipline)
- Proven Teaching Experience: Solid background teaching or tutoring at multiple grade levels (Grade 3–12)
- Ontario Curriculum Mastery: Strong knowledge of provincial curriculum standards (Math or Science, depending on discipline)
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using digital tools to enhance classroom instruction
- Reliable Commitment: Available for consistent, predictable weekly hours (minimum 4 hours/week)
Math Educators Specifically: Demonstrate expertise across elementary numeracy through secondary calculus and advanced functions.
Science Educators Specifically: Show competency in general science (elementary), and either Biology (SBI3U/SBI4U) or Chemistry (SCH3U/SCH4U) at the secondary level (or both).
