Kananaskis Outfitters is an independently owned outdoor shop with our main location in Kananaskis Village and a seasonal Boathouse at Barrier Lake. We carry a variety of mountain lifestyle apparel along with rental gear and guided activities. When the snow flies, we offer snowshoes, XC skis, ice skates and fat bikes. During the warmer months, we rent mountain bikes, canoes, kayaks and SUPs.
Surrounded by a scenic mountain playground offering year-round adventures, we collaborate as a small, close-knit team to provide our customers with an enjoyable experience on and off the trails.

As a Retail & Rental Sales Associate, you'll play an essential role by:
- Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, courteous and professional
- Sharing enthusiasm and knowledge about our offerings and local area activities
- Efficiently selling merchandise, rentals, and guided tours
- Outfitting guests with appropriate rental equipment and proper usage
- Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of rental equipment
- Creating attractive retail displays and maintaining overall shop presentation
- Organising and restocking the sales floor
- Accurately receiving and inputting new inventory
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the shops and various storage areas
- Responding to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner
- Assisting with projects and other daily task as needed

Required…
- Comfortable on your feet all day while safely lifting large/heavy items upwards of 50lbs (bikes, boats, and inventory)
- Reliable vehicle to travel between our two shop locations and staff housing

Note: The Kananaskis Village is located a 45 minute drive to Canmore or a 1 hour drive to Cochrane or Calgary for groceries.
