Schedule: Weekends and Full Days (summer camp) based on programming needs
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience, certification, and program involvement
Tennis coaches will play a key role in the delivery and growth of TAC Sports’ tennis programming, working with junior and adult players across all skill levels, from beginner fundamentals to advanced training. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, effective teaching methods, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with athletes and families.

Deliver private lessons, semi-private lessons, and group clinics for juniors and adults

Plan and lead structured training sessions that emphasize technical skills, tactical awareness, movement, and match play

Implement age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate coaching methods aligned with long-term athlete development (LTAD) principles

Adapt coaching styles to suit individual learning needs, skill levels, and goals

Provide clear, constructive, and ongoing feedback to players to support improvement and confidence

Support the planning and execution of junior development programs, adult programs, camps, leagues, and specialty clinics

Assist in the evaluation and progression of players within TAC Sports’ tennis pathway

Contribute ideas to enhance program quality, structure, and participant experience

Maintain consistency and professionalism across all TAC tennis programming

Build positive, professional relationships with players, parents, and members

Communicate program goals, expectations, and player progress clearly and respectfully

Represent TAC Sports with professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service at all times

Ensure a safe, organized, and respectful court environment

Monitor proper use and care of tennis equipment and facilities

Follow all TAC Sports policies, safety protocols, and coaching standards

Assist with court scheduling, program logistics, and daily operations as required

Work collaboratively with fellow tennis professionals and TAC Sports staff

Support assistant coaches and junior staff when applicable

Contribute positively to a team-focused, professional coaching culture

Recognized tennis coaching certification (e.g., Tennis Canada, USPTA, PTR, or equivalent)

Minimum 2–5 years of coaching experience working with junior and/or adult players

Strong technical understanding of tennis fundamentals, stroke mechanics, and strategy

Demonstrated ability to teach players of varying ages and skill levels

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Professional, reliable, and committed to ongoing development as a coach

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

First Aid/CPR and Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in program coordination or leadership roles

Background in competitive tennis (playing or coaching)

Knowledge of player assessment and progression systems
