Job Title: Electrician – Afternoon Shift
Job Summary:
We are hiring a full-time, permanent Electrician for our Tier 1 automotive manufacturing client in Concord, ON. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the ongoing functionality of complex electrical systems in a high-output production environment.

Job Location: Concord, ON
Shift Structure: Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Monday to Friday
Compensation Structure: Competitive – based on experience, certification, and skill level + $0.75/hour shift premium
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems on production machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrades to electrical systems and equipment.
- Work with PLC systems, robotic systems, and other automated manufacturing technologies.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Preferred Certification: 442A Electrician License (Red Seal is a strong asset).
- Open to candidates actively pursuing licensing or those with strong foundational skills and eagerness to grow.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Ontario electrical safety codes and manufacturing safety protocols.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and solutions-oriented with strong communication skills.
