Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Instructor-Building Design Technician to join our educational team. This role involves delivering engaging instruction in building design concepts, utilizing classroom experience and teaching skills to inspire and educate students. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive lessons on building design principles, construction methods, and architectural concepts
- Develop and prepare instructional materials, including presentations, handouts, and project assignments
- Facilitate hands-on activities and practical exercises to reinforce theoretical knowledge
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum content and teaching strategies
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into instruction
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in architecture, engineering, or related fields is preferred
- Proven teaching experience or training in educational settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of building design software and tools is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
