We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Percussive Drilling Services team in Red Lake, Ontario. This is a Fly In Fly Out, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off position.
Hourly Wage: $54.43/hr plus up to $50/hr bonus
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and communicate activities and between internal & external clients
- Schedule crews and communicate daily project plans
- Acts as the technical and content expert for the project
- Analyzes, organizes, monitors and evaluates specified area including financial analysis
- Revises or creates procedures to improve efficiency of workflow.
- Initiates cost reduction programs, prepares proposals, and articulates product position, key benefits and value proposition
- Works with vendors and other third parties
- Accountable for the safety of all employees on site
- Accountable for meeting internal and external targets
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years underground mining experience
- Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core
- Project Management Experience
- Experience managing a team of more than 30 individuals
- Must have valid Canada Driver’s License
- Strong leadership and communication skills are a requirement for this position
- This is a hands-on position that requires a decisive individual with a high level of initiative
- Experience operating and maintaining TH and ITH drills an asset
- Experience loading and blasting raises an asset
Typically requires a minimum of 2-5 years of directly related experience.
