Job Summary
The Millwright position is a critical role in our plant. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute their mechanical expertise to keep our facility running efficiently.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment using schematics, manuals, and technical knowhow.
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility (building) to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Use welding, HVAC, boiler, and other industrial skills to repair or modify equipment as needed.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Conduct analysis of machinery performance to identify root causes of malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure systems are properly maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman/woman Millwright certification or equivalent technical diploma.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC systems, welding techniques, boilers, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform analysis to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to safety and maintenance standards.
