Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and friendly transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated area
- Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding and luggage as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Manage fare collection accurately, including cash handling and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, fares, and estimated arrival times
- Keep records of trips, fares, and maintenance needs for the vehicle
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in driving, preferably with commercial driving or taxi service experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Strong time management skills to adhere to schedules and optimize routes
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and navigation tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Physical ability to assist passengers with luggage and perform vehicle inspections when necessary
