Doher & Co. Chartered Accountants is a local firm of Chartered Professional Accountants located in Windsor, Ontario.
We provide audit, accounting and tax services, as well as a variety of business advisory services to a wide range of clients in industries ranging from manufacturing, construction, retail to professional firms, such as doctors, lawyers and dentists. We also provide services to the non-for-profit sector.
We are looking for a highly motivated administrative assistant/receptionist to join our firm.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities include but not limited to:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Greeting and assisting clients
- Editing financial statements, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms for professional staff
- Performing administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, Accounts Payable etc.
- Typing letters and reports on behalf of professional staff
- Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Diploma in Office Administration preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, and confidentiality concerning client files and records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong work ethics
- Good typing skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Simply Accounting (Sage 50).
- Experience with Caseware, and Taxprep software would be an asset.
