Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Works with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and other equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Performs preventive maintenance, alignment, and mechanical adjustments as required.
Requirements:
Red Seal Certification (Industrial Mechanic – Millwright) or equivalent provincial journeyperson license.
Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, rigging, precision tools, and safety procedures.
Work Environment: Manufacturing plants, utilities, and industrial facilities.
