Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding, luggage handling, and seating arrangements as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times
- Manage scheduling and route planning to optimize efficiency and punctuality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including fare collection and providing change when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it remains in good working condition
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and attentive to passenger needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in driving, preferably with commercial driving licenses or certifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse passengers
- Excellent time management skills to adhere to schedules and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and safety regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old (or as per local licensing requirements)
- Ability to pass background checks and any required drug screenings or certifications
Pay: $800.00-$1,000.00 per week
