Job Description
We are looking for a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our Service department. Your work will help the company to adequately meet our clients’ expectations and guarantee them fully compliant fire suppression systems.
You will mainly be responsible the installation, modification and repairs to existing water-based sprinkler systems, foam systems, gas agent systems and fire pump equipment. You will also respond to service calls from customers, and provide training, when necessary.
Success Factors
Candidate needs to be a member in good standing with Local 254.
Red Seal or Manitoba Journeyperson Certification as a Sprinkler Fitter.
Experience in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire protection sprinkler systems (mandatory).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Safety first attitude.
Ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Strong customer service skills.
High level of communication is required.
