Position Summary
WELL Health Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Payroll Coordinator to support payroll operations for Quebec (QC). This role is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll while ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and company policies.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and French, has strong communication and organizational skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to delivering excellent employee support.
How You’ll Make an Impact:

Process end-to-end payroll for QC employees accurately and on time

Manage onboarding activities for new hires, including payroll setup, employee documentation, and system entries

Maintain payroll records, employee data, and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality

Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation, including statutory deductions, remittances and reporting requirements.

Prepare payroll journal entries and support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and payroll-related journal entries

Respond to payroll related inquiries from employees and leaders in both English and French in a professional and timely manner with exceptional customer services

Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and issue resolution

Support HRIS implementation activities for QC based companies including system transitions to ADP.

Support French-language communications with Quebec members.

Assist with payroll audits and support internal and external compliance requirements

Support year-end activities including T4 and RL-1 preparation

Identify payroll discrepancies and resolve issues with strong attention to detail

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes efficiency, and employee experience

Assist with additional payroll-related duties and special projects as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is preferred

5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-provincial environment

Fluency in both English and French is required

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset

Strong knowledge of Quebec payroll legislation and payroll best practices

Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems is considered an asset

Strong Excel and data management skills

High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work
