Licensing & Legal Requirements
- Must be 19+ years old (legal age to serve alcohol in BC)
- Valid Serving It Right certification (required in British Columbia)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Experience
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred (1+ year ideal)
- Experience in a restaurant, bar, pub, or hospitality environment is an asset
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and calmly
- Team-oriented with a positive and energetic attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry trays, kegs, and supplies (up to ~25–50 lbs)
- Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and holidays
