Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cannabis Processing Labourer (NOC 95106) to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves supporting the processing, packaging, and assembly of cannabis products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with hand tools. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and processing of cannabis products according to company standards and safety protocols
- Operate equipment as trained or manually move raw materials and finished goods
- Perform assembly tasks related to product packaging and labeling
- Use hand tools for equipment maintenance, adjustments, and assembly tasks
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the processing area to meet health and safety regulations
- Support inventory management through accurate tracking of materials and finished products
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently
Experience
- Experience in assembly, packaging, or mechanical work is a plus
- Knowledge of hand tools and basic mechanical skills are advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry is beneficial but not required
- Training will be provided to conform with our policies and procedures
