We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods from the warehouse to various customer locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and organize products using moving equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure optimal safety and performance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods professionally, answering questions politely, and addressing any concerns with a positive attitude.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all moving, lifting, and driving activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Some overtime may be required (with advance notice - i.e. Inventory Counts).
To join our team you need
- A valid driver's licence and to provide a current driver's abstract.
- The ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving moving heavy items regularly.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- The ability to work independently, and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18.50-$20.15 per hour
