Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Water Care & Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in managing water treatment supplies, parts inventory, and procurement processes to ensure seamless operations within our dealership or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with supply chain management systems. Responsibilities
- Manage water care products, including monitoring water treatment systems and ensuring proper chemical levels
- Oversee parts inventory, including sourcing, purchasing, and replenishment of parts and supplies
- Utilize ERP systems and CMMS for data entry, inventory tracking, and maintenance scheduling
- Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate records of parts orders, deliveries, and inventory levels through data entry and supply chain management tools
- Assist with demand planning to forecast parts needs based on operational requirements
- Support the maintenance team with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting water treatment equipment and other machinery
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to water treatment and equipment handling
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address parts availability and technical support inquiries
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed for parts handling
Experience
- Dealership experience or background in manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Proven experience with data entry, procurement, supply chain management, sourcing, and negotiation skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to water treatment systems, HVAC units, or manufacturing equipment is advantageous
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, CMMS platforms, and demand planning tools is desirable
- Experience working with forklift operation or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
- Prior exposure to sourcing suppliers and managing procurement processes within a fast-paced environment
