Ballet Instructor (Part-Time / Contract)

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and responsible Ballet Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical training and experience teaching young children, especially ages 4–6.
Responsibilities
- Teach ballet classes for children (primarily ages 4–12)
- Create structured and engaging lesson plans
- Prepare students for performances and/or examinations (e.g. RAD syllabus is a plus)
- Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment
- Communicate with the school regarding student progress
Requirements
- Formal ballet training (RAD/other recognized certification preferred)
- Experience teaching young children (especially ages 4–6)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate, patient, and reliable
- Able to teach at one or more of our locations (West Vancouver / Burnaby / Richmond)
Additional Information
- Trial class may be required as part of the hiring process
- Teachers are expected to bring their own music
- Proper ballet attire is required during teaching
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
