Dark Side Chocolates is a creative, customer-centric, and inclusive chocolate shop and cafe in Cumberland. We make high quality, beautiful, and whimsical chocolates, serve delicious espresso drinks, and shave ice in the summer. This position is primarily for a part-time weekend barista, but hours may increase over our busier seasons.

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an upbeat and friendly barista to join our team specifically for weekends, as well as other potential shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in excellent customer service, ability to multi-task unsupervised, and be clean, fast, and friendly.
**Duties:**
- Engage our great customers in a friendly manner
- Make barista drinks efficiently and assist customers with purchasing chocolate
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe
- Follow food safety guidelines and procedures
**Requirements:**
- Customer service experience is required
- Weekend availability is required
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work solo, and as a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Barista experience an asset, but we can train
- Familiarity with food service and handling procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
