Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager with light bookkeeping experience to oversee daily administrative operations and support basic financial tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally
- Support onboarding and basic HR-related documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Record and track expenses, invoices, and payments
- Reconcile basic financial records and assist with reports
- Liaise with external accountants or bookkeepers as needed
- Order office supplies and manage vendor relationships

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Wave, or similar)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with small businesses
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll or tax basics (an asset)
- Bilingual (English) is an asset
