Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure meets safety standards and project specifications, contributing to successful building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Complete small and medium size renovations
- Use hand tools and power tools such as pipe wrenches, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing systems in accordance with project plans
- Collaborate with construction teams including carpenters, HVAC specialists, and general contractors to coordinate work efforts
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills to determine appropriate solutions
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction plumbing practices
- Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, and assembly of plumbing components
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their integration into building infrastructure is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for plumbing installation and repair
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving large vehicles is advantageous but not required
