Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Demolition Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely dismantling structures, preparing sites for new construction, and assisting with various demolition, excavation, and underpinning tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to operate hand and power tools. Seeking candidates with experience in interior demolition, underpinning, and excavation.
Duties
- Safely demolish buildings and structures following project specifications and safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools to dismantle structures, remove debris, and prepare sites for reconstruction
- Must have underpinning experience
- Assist with excavations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Must have a valid driver's licence and vehicle
Experience
- Prior experience in demolition or construction is a must. Minimum 3 years.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to demolition activities
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in physically demanding environments.
