Responsibilities:
- Shutting down and securing the machine properly when it is unattended
- Complete and maintain accurate hours of service records, safety reports, and other work done on the crane while in the field
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance as required
- Uphold HSE regulations and be aware of any site conditions that could affect the crane operation
- Mob and Demob of crane
- Rig up and down conventional and hydraulic cranes
- Help Plan engineered Lift Plans
- Understand Critical and non-critical lift plans
- Instruct Riggers or apprentices when rigging lifts
- Help crew with next steps
- Qualifications:
- Red Seal Certification is and asset
- Trade Certificate in Welding, Millwrighting considered an asset
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Experience with crane and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to travel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Dedicated work ethic
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $31.97-$44.10 per hour
Experience:
- Crane Operator: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- Level B Crane Certificate (required)
- Red Seal Crane Operator cert (preferred)
