Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring all children have access to meaningful learning experiences.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about each child's progress and needs.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining clean, safe learning spaces.
- Document observations and developmental milestones to track individual progress and inform future planning.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and empathy.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Certification or training in early childhood education is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
