Family Medicine Physician
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting community health initiatives. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across diverse patient populations
- Manage pain through appropriate pain management protocols
- Provide pediatric care, including immunizations and developmental assessments
- Administer medications accurately and safely, including injections and home care medications
- Document patient encounters using electronic health records such as Epic and Cerner systems
- Collect and analyze data to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes
- Coordinate with specialists for referrals and additional care as needed
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in research activities or quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution; board certification in Family Medicine preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in the province of employment
- Proven experience in family clinic settings, outpatient clinics, or both, with a focus on patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and data collection methods
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience with medical office operations or research activities is a plus

Pay: $180,960.05-$360,714.12 per year
