POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Material Planner to join our dynamic procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing all production purchase order requirements, validating supplier delivery commitments, and ensuring the completeness of Bill of Materials (BOM) to Purchase Orders (PO). This role requires managing material shortages, handling discrepancies, and expediting supplies to meet ADI’s production needs.
This position can be based in either Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, or Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Plan and manage all production purchase order requirements for North American supply.

Validate and ensure supplier delivery commitments align with PO and production needs.

Expedite material shortages and coordinate with suppliers across sites.

Enter and send purchase orders through Syspro, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Provide pricing and quoting support.

Maintain records by scanning and filing all packing lists and invoices.

Reconcile invoice queries and ensure all MODs are properly priced and documented.

Address discrepancies by raising DDRs and reconciling L&Ds.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Post-secondary education in Administration, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.

2-5 years of experience in materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a purchasing context.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing environments.

Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to work independently.

Team player with excellent analytical skills and deadline-oriented mindset.
