Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Car Salesman/Woman to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in car sales, possess excellent negotiation skills, and have a strong background in retail new/used vehicle sales. This role involves engaging with customers, managing the sales pipeline, and providing exceptional customer service to drive dealership success. Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through outside sales efforts to generate new leads and expand the customer base
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrate vehicle features to potential buyers
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet customer needs and dealership goals
- Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline to track prospects and follow up on leads
- Upsell additional products, services, or warranties to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Support B2B sales initiatives and develop relationships with local businesses for fleet or corporate sales
- Assist customers throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, appointments, and sales activities using dealership management systems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person and ensuring a positive buying experience
Experience
- Proven experience in retail car sales or dealership environments is preferred
- Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end vehicle sales is advantageous
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and supporting sales management functions
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Organizational skills to manage multiple clients and follow-up activities efficiently
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to automotive sales is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
