About the Role
The Customer Freight Coordinator is a key member of our operations team and is responsible for delivering a consistent, highly organized, and effortless experience to our customers. As the daily point of contact, you will be the transportation expert who coordinates the movement of our customers’ cargo — either through our asset-based dispatch team or by sourcing trusted partner carriers when required.
What You'll Do
· Follow up with direct shipper customers on a regular basis to build relationships and identify freight opportunities.
· Provide rate quotes that balance the need to be competitive and profitable.
· Source and manage 3rd party carriers on lanes and shipments that cannot be serviced competitively by our asset-based operation.
· Track and trace all shipments throughout transit and ensure all information in the system is accurate and up to date at all times.
· Coordinate schedule changes, service issues, and cargo claims in a way that feels effortless to the customer.
What We're Looking For
· Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay calm and organized when priorities change.
· Working knowledge & experience in quoting and pricing freight.
· Working knowledge of weights and dimensions regulations, including trailer requirements for typical cargo dimensions.
· Familiarity with Canada & US geography, and realistic travel times.
· Understanding of customs clearance workflows.
· Highly comfortable using transportation management systems, digital tools, and structured processes to stay organized and accurate

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
