The Opportunity
Accountable/responsible for ensuring the consistent application and administration of the company’s warranty programs. Updates warranty information as required and provides accurate records and documentation as applicable.
The Role
- Review and process warranty claims, including assessment of non-warranty part and/or labor for both warrantable and partially warrantable repairs.
- Maintains communication with supplier representatives and support centers to determine warrantable repairs.
- Maintains warranty parts records and ensures supplier procedures for retaining used parts is followed; processing warranty returns to appropriate suppliers.
- Manage and track warranty claim reports to ensure delinquencies are being paid and handled effectively.
- Ensures accurate record keeping and accounting of warranty programs through review and monitoring of claims and submissions for the branch.
- Follows organizational guidelines and adheres to company standards by completing claims in a timely manner.
- Communicates information with clarity (both written and verbal) to provide documentation required for warranty claims and submissions
- Uses information and knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions regarding warrantable claims.
The Candidate
- Education: High School; College Diploma (an asset)
- Work Experience: 2-3 years, in a service/warranty administration role within an industrial setting
- Knowledge: working knowledge of processing warranty claims; specialized in heavy equipment and/or truck and coach industry sectors; competent with Microsoft Office – with a proficiency and focus on MS Excel and MS Word.

Compensation
Salary Range $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per annum. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
