Currently, we are urgently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Live-In Caregiver instructor who will join our dynamic team on a part-time basis for evening teaching schedule.
This position requires the instructor to teach students about early childhood education and childcare principles and skills using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups and independent or group projects.
Schedule:
Days: Monday to Thursday, between 5PM to 9PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach students using a systematic plan with clear learning objectives
- Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Prepare, administer and mark tests (when necessary)
- Advise students on program curricula
- Maintain a professional relationship with students while ensuring that their general well-being is also looked after
- Update and maintain grades on a weekly basis
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and report patterns of absence
Qualifications:
- University degree in a child care-related field and a minimum 2 years of industry related work experience OR 10 years of full-time childcare or early childhood education experience
- ECE Certificate or Childcare certification is a must
* Short listed candidates may be required to deliver a demo lesson to a scheduled class
