Associate Lawyer – Personal Injury & Disability Law (3+ Years)
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid)
Position: Full-Time
Alam Law Firm is a rapidly growing plaintiff personal injury law firm representing clients throughout Ontario in motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, disability, and catastrophic injury claims.
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Lawyer with a minimum of three (3) years of plaintiff personal injury and disability law experience to join our litigation team.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a caseload of approximately 150 Accident Benefits (SABS), Tort, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD) files.
- Conduct client meetings, examinations for discovery, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, legal correspondence, settlement proposals, and other litigation materials.
- Collaborate with senior counsel on complex litigation matters while independently advancing assigned files.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of plaintiff personal injury and disability law experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Accident Benefits, Tort litigation, and disability claims.
- Ability to independently manage files from intake through settlement or trial preparation.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience.
