Job summary
MNG International Inc. is looking for a motivated and professional Sales and Marketing Account Manager to help grow our customer base across Canada and the United States.
The ideal candidate will manage existing customer accounts, develop new business opportunities, follow up with buyers, coordinate sample requests, support marketing outreach, and help build long term relationships with food manufacturers, seasoning companies, distributors, private label brands, bakeries, processors, and other food industry customers.
This role requires someone who is organized, confident with communication, comfortable with sales follow ups, and able to understand customer needs in a fast paced food ingredient business.
Main duties
Manage and grow existing customer accounts across Canada and the United States
Identify new business opportunities with food manufacturers, distributors, seasoning companies, bakeries, processors, and related customers
Contact potential customers by phone, email, LinkedIn, trade show leads, and other sales channels
Prepare and send product information, sample offers, quotations, and follow up emails
Coordinate customer sample requests with the quality assurance, warehouse, and logistics teams
Maintain regular follow ups with buyers, purchasing managers, research and development teams, and quality assurance contacts
Understand customer requirements for spices, herbs, dehydrated vegetables, seasonings, and food ingredients
Support pricing discussions, customer negotiations, and sales order follow ups
Assist with preparing product presentations, company introductions, customer lists, and marketing material
Track leads, customer conversations, pricing requests, samples, and sales activities
Help prepare for trade shows, customer meetings, and supplier or buyer visits
Research target companies and identify the right purchasing or product development contacts
Work with internal teams to make sure customer requests are handled accurately and on time
Provide feedback on customer demand, market trends, competitor activity, and new product opportunities
Build long term business relationships with key customer accounts
Requirements
College diploma or university degree in business, marketing, sales, commerce, food business, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, customer service, marketing, or food industry sales is an asset
Experience in food ingredients, spices, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or business to business sales is strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable making sales calls and following up with potential customers
Good email writing and professional communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple leads, customer requests, and follow ups at the same time
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, or similar tools
Ability to learn technical product details and communicate them clearly to customers
Professional, reliable, and results focused attitude
Valid driver’s licence is an asset if customer visits are required

Experience preparing quotes, sample requests, product lists, and customer presentations
Understanding of food industry requirements such as specifications, COA, allergen statements, nutrition documents, and BRCGS standards
