Credit Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced full-time Credit Supervisor to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the Director of Accounting & I.T. the Credit Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities of credit and collections.
Responsibilities and Duties
Accounts Receivable
- Responsible for management and collection of accounts receivable.
- Resolve escalated collection issues and negotiate payment plans where appropriate.
- Identify accounts to be assigned to outside collection agencies/lawyers.
- Work with Sales and Customer Service Representatives to reconcile disputed invoices.
- Review and adjust credit limits to comply with credit requirements.
- Meet regularly with Director of Accounting & I.T. to discuss collections of overdue accounts.
- Record daily A/R Receipts (Credit Cards, Electronic Payments, Debit, or Cash).
- Generate month-end customer statements, review statements, and distribute accordingly.
- Assist with customer concerns, invoice copies, credit notes, and statement inquiries.
- Maintain detailed collections notes in Sage ERP.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accounts Payable
- Assist Accounts Payable with entering payable invoices in Sage 300 ERP as time permits.
Qualifications and Skills
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years credit supervisor experience.
· Preferred: A college or university degree (Finance, Business, or related field experience).
· Strong knowledge of Sage 300 ERP Software.
· Proficient in Microsoft M365 Software (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint) and embraces modern technology.
· Excellent data entry skills with an elevated level of accuracy.
· Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
· Exceptional written and verbal communications.
· Ability to adapt, work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with a team.
· Enthusiastic and goal-driven with exceptional ability to multi-task.
