About the Role
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to join our HR Learning & Development team in Brampton. This is a 12-month contract role focused on coordinating, tracking, and supporting training for both new hires and current employees across our Operations teams.
This position is centered on coordinating the learning experience rather than developing training content. You will work closely with Supervisors, Team Leads, Trainers, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure employees receive the right training at the right time. The role also plays a key part in maintaining accurate training records in digital systems, supporting onboarding efforts, and helping drive the adoption of digital learning tools across the facility.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule training for new hires and current employees across Operations teams

Partner with Supervisors, Team Leads, Trainers, and HR to support a consistent and organized learning experience

Track training completion and maintain accurate records in systems such as LMS and digital Skills Matrix

Monitor training progress and follow up on outstanding requirements

Support onboarding by ensuring new hires are scheduled for required training and connected with the right stakeholders

Coordinate office-based systems training across departments and track completion

Maintain organized training schedules, trackers, and documentation for reporting purposes

Assist with the rollout and adoption of digital learning tools and platforms

Provide occasional support capturing photos/videos of shop floor processes (as needed)

Identify opportunities to improve training coordination, tracking, and communication
What You Bring

Strong interest in learning & development, HR, training coordination, or operations

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-through on tasks

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization

Comfortable spending time on the shop floor and working in a manufacturing environment

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively
Nice to Have

Education in HR, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience with training coordination, onboarding, scheduling, or administration

Familiarity with LMS, HRIS, or other digital tracking systems

Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
